The Career & Technical Education Programs section is liable for developing and sustaining educational applications that prepare people for occupations necessary to Florida’s economic development. These programs are organized into 17 different profession clusters and are geared towards center school, highschool, district technical faculty, and Florida College System students throughout the state. With the assistance of companions in education, business and trade, and trade associations, each program contains the educational and technical skills required to be successful in at present’s economy. Most employers require prospective animators to have a bachelor’s degree in animation or related area, as well as knowledgeable portfolio, though some animators maintain solely a certificate or an affiliate’s degree. Students sometimes take programs in drawing, 3D programming, computer graphics, video results, and graphic design. Degree packages can also provide coaching in sound and video editing, in addition to kinematics. Some of those programs may also cowl portfolio presentation and self-advertising to assist college students discover jobs after they graduate.
Profession Exploration & Education
Some employers require welders to have a high school diploma and require completion of employer-based welding tests. Other employers search for a certificates or undergraduate degree from a technical faculty, vocational college or community school.
